- Beacon House Primary Health Care Centre.
Beacon House offers health care facilities to those who find themselves homeless in and around the Colchester area. They also cater for those in insecure accommodation or those at risk of losing their home. They are busy, whether providing showers or shaves, laundry, clothing, toiletries, clinic consultations, haircuts, et etc. Amongst other things they also run a series of life skills training courses covering a range of subjects including cookery, budgeting, computing and arts and crafts.
- Catch the Fire Ministries
The International arm of Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship (TACF). Their desire is to reach the world with Jesus through the sharing of our values while equipping and releasing others to bring revival! They do this through various Schools, Conferences and Missions.
- Christian Youth Outreach
CYO believe that every young person is created in the image of God, precious and special, and deserves to be able to live life to the full, body, mind and spirit. They work with schools, churches and local communities in Colchester and aim to provide opportunities for young people to explore the Christian faith for themselves in relevant ways.
- Colchester Boiler Room Community
A Christ centred community that aims to be true to Jesus, kind to people and takes the Gospel to the nations. They practice a rhythm of prayer, creativity, mercy and justice, mission, learning and hospitality. They are part of the church in Colchester, and part of the 24-7 Prayer movement.
- Colchester Street Pastors
Street Pastors is a Christian project with teams working in about 80 towns and cities across the UK. They're on the streets in the town centre to offer practical help or just someone to chat to, so if you're out on the town on a Friday or Saturday night, say hi.
- Iris Ministries - Heidi and Rolland Baker
Heidi and Rolland founded the quite amazing “Iris ministries” in 1980, and arrived in Mozambique in 1995. Iris Ministries has expanded to over 5,000 churches all over Mozambique and they care for almost 2,000 children at their centres. They regularly see signs, wonders and healings, and often experience persecution.
- Love in Action
Alan and Beryl Went are the colourful and fun leaders and founders of Love in Action. Love in Action is a Christian Charity working in Uganda to support children's education through building schools and sponsoring children, based in Masaka.
