What Jesus Did

When we look at Jesus, we see what God is like. He said it himself in John 14:9. Jesus was and is God’s Son, come to earth to live a faultless life, full of love and compassion, truth and integrity, with one goal, which was to save the Human Race. We crucified him, not knowing that he was dying for OUR sins, and on the third day he rose again from the dead!

This death on the cross and resurrection means that we can be saved – nothing you’ve done is too much for God to set you free from! John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

If we believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose again from the dead, and if we turn from our selfish ways and give our lives to him, we immediately receive Eternal life. We get to know the Father’s Love through the Holy Spirit. Our past, present AND future can be changed!

You can pray a simple prayer like this one “Lord Jesus, I realise that I have done so much wrong and lived only for myself: but now I want to live for you. I realise now that you died on the cross and rose again from the dead, and that you paid for all my sins by doing so. Come into my heart and fill me with your love. I receive your forgiveness and now know that I have eternal life. Lead me from now on! Amen!”
