Young People at the Lifehouse

Hope that you all had a great summer.

The first Sunday the young people meet this term will be September 12th. We’d love those of you that went to River Camp, Soul Survivor and Chicago International puppet festival (or anywhere else!) to share some of what you have experienced. It is good to encourage each other! This term as a church we are going to be thinking more about different aspects to prayer so as a youth group we are looking at this topic too.

 Dates for your diary.

On Sunday September 26th  7.30pm until 9.30pm there will be a get together at Charity and Colin’s for those in school year 9 and above. This is the session that we had to move from last term and is a follow on of what you were doing last term. There will be refreshments – pizza and chocolate fountain. Please try your best to be there.

On Sunday October 17th the young people will stay in the church service as Sandy Zondervan is coming and we are sure that you will enjoy listening to what she brings. If you are free on Saturday 16th October why not come to the conference that she is leading on that day as well. You will need to sign up if you intend to come. Further details will be in the notices.

The youth will also stay in the service on Sunday14th November. We know that many of you enjoy listening to some of our speakers now on a Sunday morning so we are trying to ensure there are opportunities for you to be in church every few weeks for the whole service.

We look forward to seeing you all again after our Summer break. Don’t forget the first Sunday ie 5th September is a joint service with Tiptree as they have an amazing lady, Daphne Kirk, coming to run an event for all ages. Please bring a packed lunch as there are afternoon activities until 4pm.

God Bless,

Gail
